Duties
- Manage daily site operations, ensuring work progresses according to construction plans and schedules
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain efficiency and safety standards
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to guide on-site activities accurately
- Enforce strict adherence to construction workplace safety regulations and OSHA safety standards across all site activities
- Conduct regular safety inspections, including climbing scaffolding or ladders when necessary, and ensure proper use of respiratory protection and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Oversee manual handling and heavy lifting procedures to minimize risk and promote safe work practices
- Utilize power tools and other equipment safely while maintaining their proper functioning and compliance with safety regulations
Skills
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for accurate project execution
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction processes and materials
- Deep understanding of construction workplace safety regulations, including OSHA standards
