Relevance is a digital growth marketing agency specializing in PR, SEO, and AI Visibility (GEO). We help brands earn attention, build authority, and grow through organic channels powered by modern AI technology. We’re looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to build, lead, and scale our revenue engine across inbound and outbound channels.
The Business Development Manager will own the full sales lifecycle, from pipeline generation to close. This leader will design and execute multi-channel sales funnels, and show growth of outbound sales, and leverage AI-powered tools to drive efficiency and results. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, understands the digital marketing landscape, and is obsessed with building repeatable, scalable sales processes.
- Manage and optimize the sales process for inbound leads, while building and executing outbound sales funnels that convert prospects into long-term clients.
- Develop and manage multi-channel outreach sequences across email, SMS, LinkedIn, webinars, events, and paid social.
- Create lead nurturing workflows that move prospects through awareness, consideration, and decision stages efficiently.
- Continuously A/B test messaging, cadences, and channel mix to improve conversion rates at every funnel stage.
- Leverage AI tools such as Claude (Cowork), ChatGPT, and automation platforms to streamline prospecting, personalization, and follow-up at scale.
- Implement and manage CRM workflows in Pipedrive to track pipeline health, forecast revenue, and surface actionable insights.
- Utilize Notion (or similar technology) for sales playbooks, process documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Stay current on emerging AI and sales technology to identify new tools and tactics that give Relevance a competitive edge.
- Own monthly and quarterly revenue targets, reporting progress to the President with clear dashboards and forecasts.
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, referral channels, and high-value accounts to accelerate growth.
- Analyze win/loss data and client feedback to refine positioning, pricing, and sales messaging.
- Build and present compelling proposals and pitch decks tailored to each prospect’s needs and pain points.
- 3–6 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team management role.
- Demonstrated success building and scaling multi-channel sales funnels (email, SMS, LinkedIn, webinars, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Pipedrive or a comparable CRM platform, with strong pipeline management skills.
- Proficiency with AI tools (Claude/Cowork, ChatGPT) and a track record of using technology to drive sales efficiency.
- Experience in the digital marketing, agency, or SaaS space strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling sales narratives.
- Data-driven sales mindset with the ability to translate metrics into actionable strategies.
- Familiarity with Notion or Claude for sales operations, playbooks, and internal knowledge management.
- Experience running or contributing to webinars, LinkedIn thought leadership, and content-driven sales strategies.
- Understanding of PR, SEO, and GEO (AI Visibility) services and how to position them to prospects.
- Experience with sales automation tools such as Instantly, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar.
- Track record of selling to CMOs, VPs of Marketing, or Heads of Digital at mid-market and enterprise companies.
