About Relentless Brands

Relentless Brands is a multi-brand franchise holding company headquartered in Charlotte, NC. Our portfolio includes ISI® Elite Training, a strength and conditioning franchise with 60 open locations and 100 territories awarded nationwide, and The Plunge House, a fast-growing contrast therapy and wellness franchise expanding nationally. We operate across multiple brands simultaneously at a pace that requires everyone on the team to be running at full capacity, full ownership, and full commitment.

WHAT THIS ROLE ACTUALLY IS

This is not a traditional Executive Assistant position. There is no easing in, no morning task list handed to you, and no one available to tell you what to prioritize.

The Co-Founder runs two franchise brands, a corporate team, a portfolio of 60 open locations, an active franchise development pipeline, and more moving parts than most organizations three times this size. You are the operating layer between his priorities and everything else. You are ten steps ahead at all times. You have already followed up on what he forgot. You have already flagged what is about to fall through the cracks. You are not waiting for direction. You are managing up, pushing the agenda forward, and holding the world around him accountable to its commitments.

The best person who has held this role before did not need to be managed. They managed him.

If that dynamic excites you, this is your role. If it makes you uncomfortable, it is not.

THE OPERATING ENVIRONMENT

Understand this before you apply.

  • Adam Rice is high urgency, high pace, and direct. He gives direct feedback and expects direct communication in return.
  • Founders do not work 9 to 5. This role does not either. The expectation is availability, responsiveness, and ownership, not hours on a clock.
  • You manage up. You do not wait to be told what needs attention. You surface it, organize it, and push it forward before he asks.
  • You hold context across two franchise brands simultaneously: different teams, systems, vendor networks, franchise partners, and operational realities.
  • You will have access to sensitive financial data, HR matters, legal documents, and personal information. Discretion is unconditional and is never a topic of conversation.
  • You represent the Co-Founder directly with franchise partners, vendors, and external contacts. How you show up reflects him.
  • You are held accountable for the deliverables of others. If a direct report misses a deadline, that is your problem to solve before it becomes his.
  • You are technically advanced. You do not ask how to figure something out. You find the solution, deploy the tool, and deliver the result.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

CALENDAR AND SCHEDULE OWNERSHIP

  • Complete ownership of the Co-Founder's calendar: scheduling, protecting high-value time, eliminating low-leverage meetings, and managing conflicts across brands and time zones
  • Gatekeep all meeting requests with judgment about what deserves his time, not just logistics about when it fits
  • Prepare the Co-Founder fully for every meeting: agenda, background, attendee context, open items, and desired outcome ready before he walks in
  • Manage all travel with zero loose ends

FOLLOW-UP, ACCOUNTABILITY, AND PROJECT OWNERSHIP

  • Maintain a complete and current inventory of every open item, commitment, and deadline in the Co-Founder's world
  • Follow up relentlessly with direct reports, vendors, franchise partners, and team members on outstanding deliverables without being prompted and without apology
  • Walk point on specific projects owned by the Co-Founder: own the timeline, manage stakeholders, surface blockers, drive to completion
  • Hold the Co-Founder's direct reports accountable to their commitments. You are the enforcement mechanism between meetings.
  • Flag issues before they escalate. The Co-Founder hears it from you first, with a proposed resolution already in hand.

OPERATIONS SUPPORT

  • Work directly in business operations across both brands: tracking initiatives, managing cross-departmental deliverables, and keeping operational systems running with precision
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and dropped balls and address them proactively
  • Own special projects from scoping through delivery with regular status updates and zero surprises at the deadline
  • Support the build and maintenance of SOPs, tracking systems, and operational infrastructure

FRANCHISE DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT

  • Conduct initial intake and qualification calls with prospective franchise candidates on behalf of the franchise development function
  • Represent the brands professionally and intelligently in early-stage candidate conversations, qualifying interest, fit, and financial readiness
  • Route qualified candidates into the appropriate pipeline stage with full context documented and ready for the development team
  • Support Confirmation Day logistics, candidate follow-up, and pipeline tracking as needed

COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE

  • Draft and manage outbound communications on behalf of the Co-Founder with his voice: direct, professional, no filler
  • Triage all inbound communications, assess urgency, and route or respond appropriately without creating delays
  • Produce presentations, one-pagers, executive summaries, and documents that are polished and accurate on the first draft
  • Manage vendor and partner correspondence, contract tracking, and agreement follow-through

TECHNOLOGY AND SYSTEMS

  • Operate expertly across Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Slack, Monday.com, and Canva daily
  • Deploy AI tools actively across your workflow. If a tool exists that makes the work better and faster, you are already using it.
  • Build and maintain tracking systems and dashboards that give the Co-Founder real-time visibility into what is moving and what is not

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You have supported a founder or C-suite executive in a fast-moving, multi-priority environment and you know what high-stakes operations feel like. You manage up by default, not by instruction. You are operationally fluent and understand how decisions at the executive level ripple through an organization. You are technically advanced and already deploying AI tools in your daily workflow in meaningful ways. You are an exceptional written communicator whose first draft does not need editing. You are comfortable holding people accountable at any level without it becoming personal. You do not require a defined schedule to feel secure. You are energized by complexity, not slowed down by it. Sensitive information stays with you, unconditionally.

Franchise industry familiarity is a meaningful advantage. Experience in operations or a growth-stage business environment is a strong signal of fit.

THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF:

  • You need to be told what to prioritize each day
  • You are uncomfortable holding people accountable, especially those senior to you
  • You treat 5:00 PM as a hard boundary regardless of what is in motion
  • You are not already using AI tools in your daily work in meaningful ways
  • You need recognition or credit to stay motivated
  • You are not in Charlotte, NC or cannot commit to full-time on-site

COMPENSATION

  • $60,000 to $70,000 base salary based on experience and demonstrated capability
  • Full health insurance
  • Competitive PTO
  • Direct, daily exposure to multi-brand franchise operations at the executive level with real runway for expanded scope as the company scales

HOW TO APPLY

Apply via LinkedIn. In your application message, write "I close the loop" as the first line. Applications without this phrase will not be reviewed. It is intentional. Attention to detail is the baseline requirement of this role, not a differentiator.

  • Then answer this in three to five sentences: Describe a specific situation where you anticipated a problem your executive did not see coming, took action before being asked, and what the outcome was. That answer tells us more than your entire resume.
