Relax The Back is a nationally recognized, high-end ergonomic furniture retailer seeking a dependable Part-Time Furniture Delivery Assistant to support our professional delivery team based out of our Louisville, KY warehouse.

We specialize in premium furniture and wellness solutions designed to help people move better, feel better, and live better. Our delivery team plays a critical role in providing a safe, respectful, white-glove experience in our clients’ homes.

Position Overview

This role supports in-home furniture deliveries for a high-end clientele. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and professionalism and is ideal for someone who follows direction well and takes pride in doing things the right way.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior delivery team members with in-home furniture deliveries
• Safely lift and move furniture weighing 50–350 lbs. with assistance and proper equipment
• Pre-delivery furniture assembly and truck loading
• Post-delivery packaging and waste disposal
• Maintain strong positional awareness to protect clients’ homes, furnishings, and finishes

This is a high-end, safety-driven delivery operation with 11 years without a staff injury. You will always be partnered with an experienced delivery professional, and training is provided.

Schedule

• 1–2 delivery days per week
• 8–12 hours per delivery day
• Delivery days can be set or flexible, based on availability
• Travel within a 4-hour delivery radius from Louisville, KY

Compensation & Perks

• $20/hour tips
• Lunch provided on delivery days
• Ongoing position (not seasonal)
• No prior experience required (experience is valued)

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to safely lift heavy objects with assistance
• Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team
• Clean, professional appearance
• Respectful and courteous with clients and in their homes
• Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse
