What You’ll Do:
Relate Search has partnered with a leading manufacturer in their search for a Manufacturing Supervisor to support operations at their Monroe, Ohio facility. This role is a critical frontline leadership position responsible for driving performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost while developing and leading high-performing production teams.
This leader will provide hands-on supervision, mentorship, and direction to ensure operational objectives are met while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement. The Manufacturing Supervisor will play a key role in aligning daily operations with broader business goals and maintaining a strong, safety-first environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve production targets across safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics
Provide direct supervision, coaching, and mentorship to frontline employees, ensuring strong team performance and engagement
Assess employee capabilities and drive development plans to enhance skillsets and overall effectiveness
Champion a strong safety culture, leading investigations and implementing corrective actions as needed
Adjust workflows, staffing, and processes to meet production schedules and changing business needs
Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
Support hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts to build and maintain a high-performing team
Lead by example, reinforcing accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence
Qualifications:
2–4 years of frontline supervisory experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams in a fast-paced setting
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate independently and with urgency
Experience working with systems to track, analyze, and report operational data
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies preferred
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
