Seasonal Administrative Assistant (Tax Season)
Duration: Now through April 30
Hours: 15–25 hours per week
Schedule: Set schedule each weekday

About the Role
We are seeking a seasonal Administrative Assistant to support our firm during our busiest time of year. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
The position is primarily remote, but the candidate must be reliable and flexible for occasional local errands or in-person support when needed. Prior experience in a CPA or financial services firm is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to accountants and staff during tax season
- Manage client communications, including emails, document requests, and follow-ups
- Assist with document organization, scanning, uploading, and tracking in client portals
- Maintain accurate records and ensure files are complete and properly labeled
- Help track workflow and support deadline management
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars as needed
- Perform general administrative tasks and occasional local errands as required
Qualifications & Skills
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong technology skills, including client portals, document management systems, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional, dependable, and responsive during scheduled hours
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in a CPA firm, accounting firm, or financial services environment
- Familiarity with tax season workflows and handling confidential client information
- Experience with accounting or tax-related software is a plus, including Quickbooks but main benefit would be experience with Microsoft Office and experience with CRM systems.
