Shipping & Export Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Export Coordinator to manage domestic and international shipments, receiving, inventory transactions, export documentation, and warehouse activities. This position ensures materials and equipment are shipped accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with U.S. Customs and export regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including parcel, LTL, truckload, air, and ocean freight.

• Prepare shipping and export documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin.

• Prepare and submit Automated Export System (AES) filings for applicable shipments.

• Coordinate with freight carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, customers, and internal teams.

• Schedule pickups, monitor shipments, and resolve delivery issues, discrepancies, and freight claims.

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and process inventory transactions in the ERP system.

• Support cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

• Assist with loading, unloading, staging, and movement of materials.

• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.

• Maintain organized shipping, receiving, and warehouse areas.

• Maintain accurate export and shipping records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.

• Follow all company safety, quality, environmental, and compliance policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• 3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, or a related field.

• Experience with domestic and international shipping.

• Experience preparing export documentation and AES filings.

• Working knowledge of freight carriers, transportation methods, and warehouse operations.

• Experience with an ERP, inventory management, or warehouse management system.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

• Valid driver's license.

• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.

• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of U.S. Customs requirements and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

• Experience working with freight forwarders and customs brokers.

• Experience with logistics, inventory, or warehouse process improvement.
