This position requires someone who can troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems, perform preventive maintenance, work independently in remote locations, and maintain a strong focus on safety while working extended shifts and in extreme weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Perform general and preventive maintenance on LNG/CNG equipment.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and electronic systems.
- Maintain equipment according to manufacturer specifications, SCR standards, and applicable guidelines.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on frac fleet engines and related equipment.
- Complete required work orders and maintenance documentation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all SCR safety policies, procedures, and company standards.
- Work independently in remote locations for extended periods.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- 2 years of oilfield fueling or frac experience.
- Must obtain the Railroad Commission of Texas LNG/CNG certificate within 30 days of employment.
- Must live within 60 miles of the office location.
- General knowledge of frac fleet engines.
- Working knowledge of LNG/CNG, electrical, electronic, and diagnostic systems.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Strong troubleshooting, organization, time-management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be willing to work overtime, nights, weekends, and overnight travel as needed.
- Ability to work 12-18 hour shifts and in extreme weather conditions.
- Must communicate effectively in English.
