Order Entry Representative
Location: Houston, TX
We’re looking for a Order Entry Representative to join our team and provide outstanding support to our customers and internal teams. In this role, you’ll be a key point of contact for order processing, customer inquiries, and service coordination while helping ensure a smooth and positive customer experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and enter sales orders for fuel, tanks, services and special projects with accuracy and detailed notes
- Receive telephone calls and handle caller inquiries in a professional manner
- Coordinate customer deliveries with other terminals
- Communicate with sales representatives and dispatchers regarding customer needs
- Other related tasks as assigned by manager
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Reside withing reasonable commuting distance
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
- Minimum one year's experience in a high-volume data entry and customer service environment
- Minimum one-year recent phone experience in a corporate environment communicating with customers
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word programs
- Must be able to type minimum of 30 WPM
- Must be motivated, able to communicate effectively with co-workers and management and work well in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple deadlines
- Adept at problem solving
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Stable employment history
- Must be able to pass background screening
- Clear concise written and verbal communication skills, must be able to accurately repeat information back to the customer
- Flexible with change
- Willingness to accept constructive criticism and learn
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities while maintaining a positive demeanor
PREFERRED
- SAP experience
- Experience in the fuel or transportation industry preferred
- Customer Service phone experience
Attendance Requirements: Attendance on a regular, consistent basis is mandatory, including arriving at the time as scheduled
