What You’ll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on medical equipment
- Repair and troubleshoot biomedical equipment & devices
- Conduct electrical safety testing and inspections
- Diagnose issues in electromechanical systems
- Calibrate and maintain clinical instrumentation
- Read schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals
- Maintain service logs, repair documentation, compliance records
- Support hospital staff with equipment operation & training
Must-Have Requirements
- 3–7 years Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) experience
- Experience in medical equipment repair & maintenance
- Strong knowledge of electronics troubleshooting
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs (PM)
- Ability to read schematics & wiring diagrams
- Knowledge of regulatory standards (Joint Commission, safety compliance)
- Associate degree in Biomedical / Electronics Technology OR equivalent
Nice to Have
- CBET (Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician)
- Experience in hospital / healthcare environment
- Knowledge of medical device integration / networking
- Experience working with vendors / OEM service providers
- Basic knowledge of anatomy & physiology
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
