We’re looking for a friendly, reliable Front Desk Receptionist / Medical Receptionist with experience in medical offices and insurance processes to join our team.
Position Overview
You will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a critical role in keeping our clinic running smoothly. This position combines front desk reception, patient scheduling, and medical insurance coordination.
Experience in a chiropractic office or mental health clinic is a big plus.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage calendars
- Verify insurance benefits and eligibility
- Collect copays and handle basic billing questions
- Enter and update patient information in EMR/EHR systems
- Coordinate between providers and patients
- Maintain organized front desk operations
- Assist with referrals, authorizations, and basic administrative tasks
- Help create a calm, welcoming environment for every patient
Qualifications
Required:
- Previous front desk or medical receptionist experience
- Working knowledge of medical insurance (verification, copays, basic benefits)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, and office software
Preferred (not required):
- Experience in a chiropractic clinic or mental health practice
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
- Medical office billing or administrative background
