Assembly Technician
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Small Component Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for assembling small, precision components using hand tools, fixtures, and basic assembly equipment. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work carefully and consistently in a production environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble small mechanical and/or electronic components according to work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
- Use hand tools, small power tools, fixtures, and assembly equipment.
- Perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining consistent quality and production standards.
- Inspect completed assemblies for proper fit, appearance, and functionality.
- Follow documented procedures, quality requirements, and safety guidelines.
- Identify defects, discrepancies, or assembly issues and report them to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Complete production paperwork and documentation as required.
- Work closely with production and quality teams to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in small-component assembly, manufacturing, production, or a similar hands-on environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with small parts.
- Good hand dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions, diagrams, and basic drawings.
- Comfortable performing repetitive work while maintaining accuracy.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Schedule
- Full-time, first shift or second shift (boosted for second shift)
- Overtime may be available based on production needs.
Salary : $21 - $23
