Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to support ongoing commercial construction projects. This role is responsible for performing a variety of carpentry tasks including framing, formwork, and general construction support. Key Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials
- Build and set concrete forms for foundations, walls, and slabs
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision
- Install frameworks, including walls, floors, and door/window structures
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other trades on-site
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
Qualifications
- 3 years of carpentry experience in commercial or construction environments
- Experience with concrete formwork strongly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Proficient with standard carpentry tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day
- Reliable transportation to job sites
