Primary Job Function: The Human Resources Coordinator ("HR Coordinator") is responsible for providing administrative support to the company's human resource department with a focus on effective and efficient department operations. The HR Coordinator will assist with recruiting, onboarding, maintaining employee records, training and development, benefit administration, employee relations and overall organizational development. This role supports continuous improvement initiatives through objective auditing, feedback, reporting, and collaboration including maintaining high standards for the security of confidential employee information.
Job Responsibilities / Tasks include:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping all human resource information confidential.
- Coordinate training sessions, performance reviews and employee engagement activities.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team and assist with special projects.
- Track employee attendance, PTO, and leaves of absences.
- Fully understand and manage resources according to the RAI Employee Policy Handbook.
- Assist in company benefits administration including open enrollment and termination.
- Assist employees with general issues or concerns and appropriate escalation to HR team members or company's senior management.
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates.
- Utilize social media, professional networks and databases to identify qualified candidates.
- Maintain accurate candidate data and update application statuses.
- Manage relationships with established staffing firm partners so as to source qualified candidates.
- Support new-hire onboarding by preparingmanaging paperwork and coordinating onboarding training sessions.
- Assist in exit interviews and paperwork formalities.
- Ensure HR processes are compliant with internal policies and applicable employment laws including local, state and federal regulations.
- Maintain and update employee records in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist the team with formulating policies, procedures, and changes, as well as communicating all updates to employees.
- Manage HR-related policies and procedures.
Required Skills / Experience:
- 1 -3 year Human Resources experience or relevant Associate's Degree
- Strong ethical standards for handling confidential employee data
