Warranty Administrator Job Description
Summary: The Warranty Administrator guides and oversees the warranty repair process when replacement parts and appliances are delivered and used for repairing automotives that have warranties in a timely and organized manner.
Reports To: Service Manager
Responsibilities:
• Reviews and completes warranty claims.
• Uses technical information sources as needed to complete claims.
• Prepares and submits claims for warranty or ESP within 24 to 48 hours.
• Maintains outstanding claims schedule(s) with no outstanding claims over 15 days old.
• Researches, connects, and resubmits rejected claims within 5 days.
• Maintains accurate filing system of open claims holding for credit and authorization.
• Coordinates and works effectively with other employees to resolve problems with warranty repair orders.
Exemption Status:
Warranty Administrator is a non-exempt position. You are required by Federal and State Law and by Reineke Family Dealerships to keep an accurate record of all hours you work each day. Failure to comply with this requirement can result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
The dealership is an “at-will” employer, meaning that your employment has no specific term, and that the employment relationship may be terminated at any time at the will of either party on notice to the other. Nothing contained in your commission (compensation/pay) plan should be understood to alter the nature of the at-will employment relationship or create a contract of employment for a specific term.

Qualifications:
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work in a paced-paced environment with the ability to multitask
• 2 years' experience in a service or dealership environment, sales, or customer service
