Our Cycle Counters are responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts, supporting warehouse and manufacturing operations, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. This role requires familiarity with inventory management and the operation of various material handling equipment. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient warehouse functioning in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts regular inventory cycle counts using RF scanners and manual counting methods to ensure accuracy
- Works with the shipping and receiving department to identify and resolve inventory issues
- Assists moving materials using pallet jacks, forklifts, and other heavy equipment
- Supports order picking and materials handling tasks, ensuring correct quantities and proper storage of items
- Maintains organized storage areas by properly stacking and labeling inventory items
- Documents discrepancies between physical counts and system records; report issues to supervisors for resolution
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
- Cycle counting and inventory knowledge
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution, inventory management, or related roles
- Good computer skills with basic excel knowledge
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory records and meet deadlines
- Strong understanding of basic math for inventory calculations and data entry accuracy
- Experience with RF scanners and order picking systems preferred
- Ability to operate forklift and material handling machinery as needed
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
