POSITION: The Car Wash Attendant performs the day-to-day operations of a Reign Car Wash site to include delivering an exceptional guest experience and ensuring operational excellence per the requirements of the car wash and at the instruction of the Car Wash Manager. The Car Wash Attendant cares for guest vehicles and ensures the daily car wash operation runs efficiently while maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the facility and property.

AUTHORITY AND SUPERVISION:

• Reports directly to the Car Wash Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in the wash process; assist guests in selecting and purchasing appropriate wash package and answer any questions quests may have.
• Operate Point-of-Sale (POS) system, accurately manage guest payments and transactions.
• Demonstrate superior customer service skills, comprehensively illustrate the various wash membership packages to guests with a focus on driving new memberships.
• Direct guest vehicles into car wash area, ensuring proper alignment of vehicles; conduct visual inspection of guest vehicles prior to entering wash tunnel to assess that vehicle condition is optimal to enter wash tunnel; as needed, conduct pre-washing and rinsing of heavily soiled vehicles.
• Conduct daily inspections on wash equipment and, following internal operational protocol, carry out periodic equipment maintenance to always ensure proper working order of car wash equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by regularly performing housekeeping functions throughout shift.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior Car Wash experience preferred, but not required

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills – comfortable interacting with guests, team members, vendors, etc.
• Professional, positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Capable of working independently while also skilled at working collaboratively
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines
• Must be highly organized, able to problem-solve, and have extreme attention to detail
• Ability to move from one activity to another quickly, to shift focus, and reprioritize at a moment’s notice
• Comfortable with technology

• Physical stamina to stand/walk 8 hours a day with ability to bend, squat, twist, and climb
• Capable of maneuvering and regularly lifting and or moving up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 40 pounds, unassisted
• Ability to handle moderate stress in a fast-paced environment while performing multiple tasks

• Will be exposed to moderate to loud levels of noise on a consistent basis, such as those from machinery and general ambiance.

COMPUTER SKILLS –To perform this job successfully, an individual should have:

• Prior demonstrable experience operating a personal computer using Windows and Microsoft Office software and a tablet using iOS software
• Verifiable experience operating standard office equipment including copier/scanner/printer, walkie/talkie, soft/cell phone, etc.

HOURS OF WORK

• Extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in keeping with the schedule of the car wash facility.
