Mobile Automotive Technician – Reid’s Mobile Repair
Location: Springfield, MO and surrounding areas
Pay: $25–$30/hour (based on experience)
Job Type: Part-time
Guaranteed minimum of 20 paid hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours based on workload.

Reid’s Mobile Repair is a growing mobile automotive repair company serving Springfield and the surrounding area. We provide honest, high-quality repairs directly at our customers’ location. Our goal is to make vehicle repair more convenient while delivering dealership-quality workmanship at independent-shop rates.
We’re looking for an experienced technician who enjoys working independently, takes pride in doing quality work, and treats customers with professionalism and respect.
What You’ll Do
- Travel to customer locations in a company service vehicle
- Diagnose and repair a wide variety of vehicles
- Perform maintenance and mechanical repairs
- Communicate findings and repair recommendations
- Document completed work with photos and repair notes
- Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle
- Deliver excellent customer service on every job
Common Repairs
- Brakes
- Suspension and steering
- Alternators and starters
- Batteries and charging systems
- Cooling system repairs
- Engine components
- Axles
- Wheel bearings
- Check engine light diagnostics
- General maintenance and repairs
Qualifications
- 3 years of professional automotive repair experience preferred
- Ability to accurately identity and repair vehicle issues
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- ASE certifications are a plus but not required
