Reichdrill LLC, is a leading manufacturer of high-performance drilling rigs, is seeking a motivated and organized Inside Sales Representative to join our commercial team. This role is ideal for a proactive communicator who enjoys building customer relationships, supporting the outside sales force, and keeping deals moving efficiently through the pipeline.
Mission
The role of the Shop Foreman is leading and coordinating daily operations within the production shop for a low-volume, custom drill rig manufacturing facility. This role oversees teams in welding, mechanical assembly, and painting, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production of heavy-duty drilling equipment and components.
The Shop Foreman serves as the key link between management, engineering, and production teams, driving workflow, maintaining standards, and ensuring on-time delivery of complex, built-to-order products.
Will be responsible for all aspect of:
Production Management
- Plan and assign daily work to welders, fabricators, assemblers, and painters.
- Coordinate workflow to meet build schedules and project deadlines.
- Review blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings to verify specifications and build requirements.
- Maintain feasible schedules of entire product teams and expedite material as needed.
- Monitor progress of jobs through each department, ensuring efficient transitions between fabrication, assembly, and finishing.
- Track work orders, time, and materials in ERP or job-tracking systems.
Leadership & Team Supervision
- Supervise and mentor a team of 15–35 shop employees across multiple disciplines.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance, coaching, and training for new and existing employees.
- Lead and motivate all subordinates to fulfill schedules, improve control costs and quality.
- Train, coach and supervise employees to attain optimum performance considering every employee.
- Hire, train, and evaluate manufacturing workers; monitor workers to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements.
- Lead daily production and safety meetings to communicate goals, updates, and issues.
Safety & Quality Control
- Enforce all company and OSHA safety regulations.
- Inspect work in progress and completed projects to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Identify and correct process or material issues before they impact production or quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace aligned with 5S principles.
Continuous Improvement
- Plan, determine optimal utilization of manufacturing workers and equipment to meet manufacturing goals.
- Recommend process improvements to increase productivity, reduce rework, and improve workflow.
- Work closely with engineering and management to resolve production challenges and implement best practices.
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures for key shop processes (fabrication, painting, assembly, etc.).
- Write manufacturing reports and present to top management.
- Direct corrections (corrective action) of any manufacturing problems that may arise; work with Quality Manager in development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Equipment & Resource Management
- Ensure all shop equipment (welders, cranes, forklifts, spray booths, etc.) is properly maintained and safe to operate.
- Schedule routine maintenance and report equipment needs to management.
- Manage shop supplies and materials to prevent shortages or bottlenecks.

Competences
- Associate’s Degree (e.g., business administration, industrial engineering or related field preferred) or significant experience.
- 5 years of experience minimum.
- Proven expertise in leading a diverse team of manufacturing workers.
- Excellent communication.
- Strong understanding of welding processes (MIG, stick), mechanical assembly, hydraulics, and industrial painting.
- Comfortable using ERP software, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Drive).
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience with Canbus technology
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Inventor, and other engineering software.
- Prior experience working with drill rigs or heavy machinery (e.g., CAT, Agriculture or similar) is highly valued.
