What You’ll Do
- Read and understand WisDOT roadway plans and specifications
- Lead or contribute to the management and inspection of road and bridge projects
- Provide daily document inspection and material quality observations
- Test materials: aggregate sampling, concrete testing, and nuclear gauge asphaltic density testing
- Effectively communicate with other team members, contractors, business owners, and the public
- Work independently and as a team to accomplish project goals
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor of Science Degree or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university or technical college
- 5 years of related experience in civil engineering, transportation (construction)
- Wisconsin Professional Engineer (PE) (preferred)
- Knowledgeable in WisDOT Standard Specifications, HCTP material certifications, and FDM, roadway plans and specifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Legal authorization to work permanently, without time limitations, restrictions, or need for work sponsorship in the United States
