Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)

Responsibilities:

- Perform physical examinations and assessments of Clients to determine their specific needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic massage services to Clients, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other specialized techniques.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology to effectively target areas of pain or discomfort.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as on-site Physical Therapist to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate Clients on self-care techniques and exercises to promote healing and prevent further injury.
- Adhere to all relevant legal and ethical guidelines governing the practice of massage therapy.

- Maintain Client schedules, manage emails, and preference of documentation.

- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations for shared space. Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols.

- Maintain professional and technical knowledge.

- Remain current on massage techniques.

- Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.

Requirements:

- Valid certification or license as a Massage Therapist.

- Provide own Massage Liability Insurance.

- Proven experience in pain management and acute pain management techniques.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and the ability to assess patient needs based on physical examinations.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient care and satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to continually learn and stay updated on new techniques and advancements in the field.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $36.00 - $46.00 per hour

Expected hours: Minimum 8 hours per week
