Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and tailor treatments accordingly
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for pain management and occupational health issues
- Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient responses, and progress notes using medical terminology and physiology knowledge
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to hygiene standards and safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service by listening attentively, addressing questions, and fostering a positive client experience
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in massage therapy techniques and industry best practices
Experience
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a strong background in patient service, anatomy, and assessment
- Hands-on expertise in various massage techniques and pain management techniques
- Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients about their treatment plans
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and maintaining detailed treatment documentation
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
