Job Title: Program Coordinator
Salary: $60,450-62,500
Source of Supervision: Managing Director
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with three years of experience in employment interviewing or personnel administration, and at least one year working with physically or mentally disabled individuals. Experience in the food service industry is also necessary.
If applicable to the program, a professional credential must be possessed.
Essential Functions:
1. Supervise vocational staff and oversee day-to-day operations of vocational and employment programs.
2. Coordinate client assessments, service planning, and ongoing progress evaluations.
3. Serve as a liaison between RSS’s vocational and residential programs
4. Develop and maintain cooperative relationships with local employers, training providers, and other community agencies involved in the vocational system.
5. Ensure compliance with all program standards, documentation requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
6. Participate in client referrals, interviews, intake decisions, and discharge planning.
7. Train and mentor staff in vocational counseling, job development, and employment supports.
8. Monitor program outcomes, prepare reports, and participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives. Ensure audits of case records are conducted according to division protocol.
9. Collaborate with clinical, residential, and case management staff to ensure continuity of care.
10. Coordinate transportation for clients involved in the vocational system, including van maintenance, and completing recording requirements.
11. Advocate for clients' employment goals and support their integration into the workforce.
12. Maintain a weekly list of clients who have received vocational case management services and submit them to the program manager.
13. Maintain high standards of professionalism including the safekeeping of client records and ensure client confidentiality and rights.
14. Provides job coaching and educational coaching services to clients along with situational assessments like one-on-one support/training and role modeling.
15. Oversight of affirmative business-which entails attending meeting and conferences to stay current on practices and trends in the restaurant field, develop menus and procure recipes and ensure consistency and quality of food.
16. Order raw materials and supplies, ensuring cost effectiveness.
17. Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of restaurant equipment and arrange for repair as needed.
18. Responsible for the daily operations and the on-going fiscal viability of the business.
Other duties:
1. Participate in training sessions designed to enhance growth and skill development.
2. Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or the management team.
3. Assist in the work training, development and supervision of clients as requested.
4. Maintain valid CPR/First Aid, and Defensive Driving certifications.
