Residence Counselor

Rehabilitation Support Services, Inc. (RSS), a not-for-profit mental health agency, is hiring Residence Counselors to work in our OMH community residence for female adolescents, age 12-18 in Goshen, NY. Qualifications and Skills:

High School diploma or GED

Must work well in a positive, strength focused, high energy and rapidly changing environment

Must be flexible and a team player

Good writing skills are necessary for this position

Some positions require a Bachelor’s degree in human services

Successful completion of the Justice Center and New York State Office of Children and Families Statewide Central Register Database

Active/valid NYS driver's license

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Overall care and supervision of residents; daily notes related to progress, service plans, and goals; transportation.

Position includes evening and weekend hours as well as on call responsibilities.
