Rehab Strategies is expanding our therapy team and seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy services within a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.
This is a PRN position with the opportunity for consistent or even full-time hours, depending on your availability and preference. Whether you're looking to supplement your current schedule or build a larger caseload, we would love to talk with you.
As part of Rehab Strategies, you'll join a growing therapy organization focused on providing quality, patient-centered rehabilitation while giving our clinicians the support and flexibility they need to succeed.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized plans of care based on patient needs and goals
- Provide dysphagia assessment and treatment
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with PT, OT, nursing, physicians, families, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and strategies
- Participate in discharge planning and care coordination
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Indiana SLP license or ability to obtain
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
- Skilled nursing, rehab, geriatric, or post-acute experience preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- New graduates may be considered based on clinical experience
