Role Description The Occupational Therapist role at Rehab Select is a full-time, on-site position located in Alabaster, AL. In this role, the Occupational Therapist evaluates clients’ functional abilities, develops individualized treatment plans, and provides therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills and independence. Responsibilities include collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, documenting progress and outcomes, educating clients and families on home programs, and ensuring care aligns with clinical best practices. The Occupational Therapist also participates in discharge planning, contributes to quality improvement initiatives, and supports a safe and positive environment for clients and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in Occupational Therapy, including assessment, treatment planning, and interventions.
- Experience in Rehabilitation and Medicine, with the ability to work effectively in a clinical or long-term care setting.
- Strong Communication skills for collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, clients, and families.
- Knowledge or experience in Pediatrics is beneficial for serving clients across the lifespan.
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Alabama.
- Graduate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Alabaster, AL, and to manage a varied caseload safely and effectively.
