About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Physical Therapy Biller who can step in confidently, manage claims from submission through resolution, and help keep our clients’ revenue flowing.
This is not an entry-level role. You should already understand outpatient PT billing and be comfortable working independently in an EMR.
Experience with Prompt EMR is strongly preferred.
What You Will Do
- Submit and manage outpatient physical therapy claims
- Work accounts receivable and follow up on unpaid or underpaid claims
- Identify and resolve denials, rejections, and payer issues
- Post payments and adjustments accurately
- Communicate with insurance companies when needed
- Maintain clean, organized billing workflows
- Collaborate with internal leadership to improve billing systems as we grow

What We Are Looking For
Required Experience
- Prior outpatient physical therapy billing experience
- Strong understanding of CPT codes, modifiers, and payer rules
- Experience working accounts receivable and denials
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Strongly Preferred
- Hands-on experience with Prompt EMR
- Multi-payer experience across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid
- Experience supporting multiple clinics or providers
