What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist - No Evenings or Weekends position at REHAB AT WORK?
Want to practice physical therapy without giving up your evenings or weekends? At REHAB AT WORK in Glen Burnie, MD, you'll provide low-volume, one-on-one orthopedic care for people recovering from work-related injuries. Spend your workday helping patients make meaningful progress toward returning to their jobs.
What makes this position different
The focus is individualized treatment rather than a high-volume clinic schedule. You'll work with injured workers whose goals include getting back to everyday activities and the physical demands of their jobs. We combine outpatient orthopedic therapy with specialized services, including Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) and work hardening.
Your responsibilities
- Evaluate orthopedic injuries and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
- Deliver one-on-one treatment and adjust plans as patients progress.
- Perform Functional Capacity Evaluations and participate in work hardening and industrial rehabilitation.
- Educate patients about their injuries, recovery, and preventing reinjury.
- Communicate with nurse case managers and insurance adjusters about patient progress and return-to-work needs.
- Document evaluations, treatment, and outcomes.
What we're looking for
You must hold a Physical Therapist license, or be eligible for PT licensure, in the state where this position is located. An interest in orthopedic rehabilitation and clear communication with patients and referral partners are important. Prior workers' compensation or FCE experience is welcome but not necessary to express interest. Spanish-language skills are a plus, not a requirement.
Compensation and benefits
In addition to the $80,000–$120,000 annual salary range, we offer a monthly clinic bonus paid when your clinic beats its monthly goal, plus an annual year-end bonus; a 401(k) with match; medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; an employee assistance program; paid time off; license reimbursement; and continuing education.
Our established training and mentorship program supports therapists who want to build confidence in industrial rehabilitation.
If you want a PT role where individualized care and evenings and weekends off are part of the job, apply to REHAB AT WORK in Glen Burnie, MD.
