What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fleet Maintenance Technician position at Regulated Companies?
Responsible for carrying out the companies’ fleet maintenance program, and repair of company assets to reduce downtime and increase cost efficiency. Fleet consists of automotive, trucks, and other construction equipment. Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day-to-day work routine for self and others.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a working knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance at a level normally acquired through the completion of a two-year degree in automotive technology or related field or equivalent.
Five years' experience in repair and maintenance and/or fleet maintenance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification
Basic welding ability
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs, and data from cyber-attack, damage, or unauthorized access.
Required to maintain a valid driver's license.
Requires travel: Moderate (up to 25%)
May be subject to the Company's DOT Substance Abuse Testing Program.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the repair and maintenance of company fleet and construction assets.
Works in unison with shop and field operations to repair and maintain the company’s fleet and asset equipment.
Find solutions, and issue resolutions to repair units and minimize downtime.
Maintains knowledge of issues, changes, and updates with modern equipment within industry standards.
Address all Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write ups timely, and efficiently.
Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.
Offers typically made between $29.87 - $37.34 per hour
