Regis is looking for Adjunct Lab Nursing Instructors for the Associate of Science in Nursing Program. There are four classes within this program that have comprehensive lab and simulation requirements:

Requirements
Regis is looking for Adjunct Lab Nursing Instructors for the Associate of Science in Nursing Program. There are four classes within this program that have comprehensive lab and simulation requirements:
- NU 101: Foundations of Nursing Practice: The focus of the first nursing course is health promotion, restoration, and maintenance.
- NU 102: Adult Nursing Practice: The second nursing course emphasizes the knowledge and skills essential for the nursing management of adult medical and surgical individuals as they adapt to changes in the health/illness spectrum.
- NU 201: Family-Focused Nursing Practice: The third nursing course focuses on the knowledge, skills, attitudes/values, and abilities required to provide safe, quality, and patient-centered care to women, children, and their families in order for them to flourish.
- NU 202: Comprehensive Nursing Practice: The last nursing course focuses on the knowledge, skills, attitudes/values, and abilities required to provide safe, quality, patient-centered care to adult individuals with complex stressors, assisting those individuals and families to flourish and adapt.
- Participates in simulation activities as primary instructor and demonstrates nursing skills and techniques to students.
- Uses information technologies skillfully to support teaching-learning process including the use of high-fidelity human simulators.
- Facilitation of learning experiences.
- Knowledge of and participation in developing the nursing Lab curriculum.
- Evaluation of students’ skills/simulations performance and ability to meet competencies of the program based on course objectives and program outcomes.
- Identifies and supports the needs of the students to provide a quality learning experience.
- Perform other duties as required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Weekend and evening hours may be required.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing required (or BORN approved equivalent) with 2 years clinical nursing experience. Active Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Previous clinical instructor experience preferred.
- Computer Skills- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Power Point, and Excel.
- Effective verbal and written communications skills.
- Effective time management and organization skills.
- Enthusiastic and passionate about working with students from a variety of backgrounds.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and set priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
- Able to work in team settings (e.g. with instructional course teams).
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Massachusetts RN.
- Normal office environment, not subject to extremes in noise, odors, etc.
- May spend extended periods at terminal, on telephone, or operating other office machines requiring eye-hand coordination and finger dexterity.
