Job Description:
At Highland Associates, the Client Operations and Performance Analyst role is responsible for the input and analysis of client data for reporting investment performance. The position plays a vital role in client communication, providing clients the information they need to evaluate the effectiveness of their portfolios in meeting their investment objectives. The role is also responsible for providing operational support to the client consulting teams, which includes aiding clients with investment transactions, tracking the status of all clients’ investment reports, tracking client private equity data, and contributing to performance related projects.
Primary Responsibilities
Partners and provides operational support to the client consulting function, ensuring the reporting process aids in clients achieving their long-term investment goals
Inputs and verifies client investment data for calculating performance
Performs detailed analysis on client statements, ensuring returns are calculated and reported correctly to clients
Prepares and distributes quarterly performance and monthly performance flash reports
Generates ad-hoc reports and completes ad-hoc projects for clients
Tracks aggregate private equity reporting for client accounts
Tracks status of all client reports, both monthly and quarterly
Completes performance related projects that could include: system enhancements, new module testing, report reconfiguration, etc.
Responsible for problem resolution for reporting errors
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or another related field
Preferences
Knowledge of or experience working in the investment management industry
Skills and Competencies
Good time management skills and ability to consistently meet deadlines
Solid skills with reporting applications, i.e. Excel, PARis, etc.
Sound knowledge of financial statements and strong quantitative skills
This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
Job Range Target:
Minimum: $48,274.05 USD
Median: $62,120.00 USD
Incentive Pay Plans: This job is not incentive eligible.
