QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:
State of Maine Educational Technician I, II, or III certification.
WORK YEAR:
Full school year position, as determined by the MEA Bargaining Unit Contract.
JOB GOAL/PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to positively interact with Pre-k through 5 grade students and staff, have a strong background in children's literature and an understanding of audio-visual equipment and digital literacy. The individual will maintain and operate a library (i.e. run lists, check in/out materials, shelve books, assist with inter-library loans, order books, and other library duties.). The individual will be able to consult with the District Library Specialist. This position will be shared between Line and Shapleigh Memorial.

Terms of Employment: Hours, work year and working conditions to be established by the RSU 57 School Board.
Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the School Board's policy on evaluation.
