SUMMARY
Compiles, verifies, and enter patient’s medical records for RMI by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintain records of RMI patients
- Take calls/retrieve voicemails for records requests, image release, printing films, Burning CD’s
- Take calls for Patient Portal support
- Process electronic requests for records via website and fax.
- Biopsy Requests – Prepare case in PACS for Radiologist’s review
- Retrieve pathology results for procedures at RMI, enter into patient’s file and prepare for Radiologist’s review
- Retrieve patient prior imaging from other outside facilities in a variety of formats and import into RMI’s PACS system.
- Check-in and process outside imaging for RMI to interpret through importing CDs or electronic transfer.
- Process subpoena and disability determination records requests.
- Attendance at meetings and training sessions may be required. These sessions could occasionally be scheduled outside of your regular working hours to accommodate business needs and training opportunities. QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six (6) months of related experience and/or training.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
