What are the responsibilities and job description for the Provider (MD, DO, ARNP or PA-C) position at Regional Medical Center?
Occupational Health and Same Day Clinic
ARNP, PA-C, MD, or DO with certification or willingness to obtain certification in Occupational Health.
4 day work week, Monday through Thursday, 2 shifts 12-8 and 2 shifts 8-5. Time will be spent in Same Day Clinic covering SDC shifts as well as scheduled time for occupational health scheduled visits.
- Provide occupational health services in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
- Evaluate and treat work related injuries and illnesses.
- Perform regulatory and employer-required examinations.
- Collaborate with employers regarding return-to-work planning and workplace safety initiatives.
- Participate in quality improvement and occupational health program development.
- Current applicable Iowa license MD, DO, ARNP, PA-C
- Board certification
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- Experience as a provider preferred
- Certification or demonstrated training in occupation health or willingness to obtain certification
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with employers, employees, clinical staff and community partners
