What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Technician-Provider Network Management position at Region?
Essential Functions
An employee at this level is required to perform some or all of the following duties, which do not include all tasks to be performed:
- Provide support for the area of Provider Network Management
- Assist with data reporting, tracking, and monitoring
- Provide support for contracts, including proofreading documents, formatting documents, and tracking document status
- Provide support for state level report submissions
- Provide support for Contract Monitoring Tools and Plans of Correction
- Monitor submission of information by Network Providers
- Maintain Provider Network Management Process Documents
- Disseminate general communications to Provider Network
- Provide support for External Quality Reviews and State Site Reviews
Minimum qualifications (An employee must have the following credentials, training, and experience)
·High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate
·Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
·Ability to solve problems from a few specific alternatives
·Ability to work with individuals in a positive manner
·Ability to deal with minor conflicts tactfully
·Valid State of Michigan Driver’s License
·Must have access to transportation
Preferred qualifications
·Post-secondary education
·Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
·Basic knowledge of Provider Network Management
·Experience with Community Mental Health, Substance Use Providers, and/or Prepaid Inpatient Health Plan (PIHP)
·Knowledge of the State of Michigan Medicaid Provider Manual
