POSITION TITLE: COMMUNITY SERVICES ASSOCIATE B
GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The Community Services Associate B (CSA-B) provides support to Community Services Associate A (CSA-A). The role of CSA-B provide training to new CSA-As, supports daily functioning of the Center, collaborates with staff regarding need, and supports the protocols and policies for the Center. CSA-B staff can be involved in scheduling assistance, kitchen management, support of psychoeducational groups, service coordination (when applicable), and other duties as assigned by Program Manager or Program Director.
QUALIFICATIONS: This role will be filled by an individual who is organized, self-sufficient, and able to be creative in ensuring staff are trained and daily duties are completed successfully. Individual in this role must be able to communicate verbally and in writing clearly and effectively. Individual must be able to serve as a support to teammates and provide feedback to Program Manager and/or Director.
Education
Knowledge of: teamwork practices, residential daily functioning, support versus management, training, SUD and co-occurring disorders, learning styles, community-based services and other supports
Skills in: written and verbal communication, organization, patience, collaboration, self-motivation, Microsoft systems, client care and support
Abilities to: work independently, prioritize duties based on daily needs, collaborate, give and receive constructive feedback

Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year in a human services field
- Experience with SUD and co-occurring populations
- To ensure the safe and efficient operation of the program, a valid Virginia Driver’s License plus an acceptable driving record as issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles are required.
- For business use of a personal car, a certificate of valid personal automobile insurance must be provided.
