Job Goal:
Support the development, planning, coordination, and implementation of Academic Performance and Leadership Impact services aligned with the mission and strategic priorities of the Center for Strategic District Support and Region 4 ESC. Partner closely with district leadership teams to implement system-level, state-aligned initiatives, including Bluebonnet Learning and Instructional Materials Review and Adoption (IMRA), that strengthen leadership capacity, align instructional systems, and improve student outcomes across participating LEAs.
Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree
Certification
- Texas Educator Certificate
Experience
- Three years of experience in K–12 education leadership at the campus or district level
- Experience leading district-level leadership or central office initiatives
- Experience developing and coordinating professional development and leadership support services
- Experience supporting implementation of system-level initiatives across multiple campuses
- Experience supporting Bluebonnet Learning, IMRA, or instructional materials initiatives preferred
Special Knowledge and Skills
- Demonstrates understanding of district leadership structures and Texas continuous improvement systems
- Knowledge of Bluebonnet Learning, IMRA processes, and HQIM
- Ability to communicate with superintendents and cabinet-level leaders
- Strong project management and analytical capacity
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or related field
- Experience supporting grant-funded initiatives
Major Responsibilities
- Develop, plan, coordinate, and implement Academic Performance and Leadership Impact services aligned with the mission and strategic priorities of the Center for Strategic District Support and Region 4 ESC.
- Coordinate the implementation of services across multiple LEAs, ensuring coherence, fidelity, and alignment to district priorities and improvement goals.
- Partner closely with district leadership teams, including superintendents and cabinet members, to execute system-level initiatives that strengthen leadership capacity, align instructional systems, and improve student outcomes.
- Provide technical assistance and customized services to districts to support leadership development and continuous improvement efforts.
- Support and manage the coordination and implementation of state-aligned initiatives, including Bluebonnet Learning and IMRA, ensuring alignment to state expectations and high-quality instructional practices.
- Deliver professional development and coaching to district leaders and teams to support effective implementation of initiatives and build internal capacity.
- Monitor implementation progress, track data, and evaluate impact across initiatives to inform continuous improvement and decision-making.
- Identify risks, gaps, and barriers to successful implementation and collaborate with district leaders to develop responsive solutions.
- Support professional learning by curating, developing, and aligning resources to district needs, state initiatives, and evidence-based practices.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across LEAs, ESC departments, and external partners to foster collaboration and shared accountability.
- Support the planning, implementation, and reporting requirements of grant-funded initiatives aligned to district and regional priorities.
- Participate in ongoing professional learning to remain current on state initiatives, instructional best practices, leadership development, and systems improvement strategies.
