About Us
Reggio's Treehouse, LLC is a premier provider of Reggio Emilia–inspired child development centers. We are growing rapidly, with multiple locations throughout the DC, VA, and NJ region, and are looking for a Financial Analyst to help support that growth.
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial concepts to support our financial planning and analysis activities.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Planning
- Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to provide insights for decision-making.
- Develop financial reports and presentations for senior management.
- Collaborate with various departments to analyze financial data and performance.
- Assist in budgeting, variance analysis, and strategic planning processes.
- Utilize systems and tools for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
What You Bring
Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of general and cost accounting, with solid command of GAAP
- minimum 3 years of accounting experience required
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office, G-Suite, or similar tools
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong strategic planning abilities.
- Experience with analytics tools and SQL for data analysis.
- Knowledge of governmental accounting principles.
- Understanding of corporate finance practices.
- Ability to create data visualizations for reporting purposes.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- MBA a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs occasionally
Work Arrangement
- Remote or hybrid — candidates within commuting distance of DC, VA, or NJ locations preferred for occasional in-office/on-site needs
