Position Summary
The Advanced Practice Provider delivers comprehensive primary and preventive healthcare services to patients of all ages, with an emphasis on whole-person care and evidence-based treatment. The provider will diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, deliver MAT services, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary and preventive care to diverse patient populations
- Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and chronic conditions
- Deliver Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for patients with substance use disorders
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic testing (labs, imaging, studies)
- Prescribe medications and evidence-based treatment plans
- Counsel patients on disease prevention, health promotion, and self-management
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans following clinical protocols
- Refer patients to specialists and community resources as appropriate
- Perform in-office procedures including:

- IUD and Nexplanon placement
- Pap smears and biopsies
- Joint injections
- Nail removals
- Suturing
- Wart cryotherapy
- Incision & drainage
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Active South Carolina APRN or Physician Assistant license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience providing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience preferred
