Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of resident admissions, including intake, documentation, and communication with families and referral sources
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with benefits coordination
- Maintain accurate resident records and ensure compliance with regulations
- Support billing processes, collections, and general business office functions
- Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and facility staff
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming environment
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, healthcare admissions, or business office preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance verification is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems
