- Wash, dry, and iron patient and resident clothing, linens, and bedding in a timely and efficient manner
- Sort and categorize laundry items according to fabric type, color, and special handling requirements
- Operate industrial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and folding machines
- Fold, hang, and package laundry items for distribution to patients and residents
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry areas, including storage rooms, laundry rooms, and supply closets
- Follow proper infection control procedures to prevent the spread of diseases and maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow
- Report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to management
