Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation, including washing, cutting, and cooking food items
- Prepare and deliver meals to patients, ensuring that all dietary requirements are met
- Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, equipment, and utensils
- Restock supplies and inventory of food, beverages, and equipment
- Assist with food storage, including labeling and dating food items
- Maintain a clean and organized dietary department, adhering to infection control standards
- Collaborate with dietary staff to plan and prepare special meals and events
- Ensure compliance with dietary policies, procedures, and regulations
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to ensure patient satisfaction and care
- 0 years of experience preferred, but will consider new graduates or those with related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Food safety certification and CPR/First Aid training preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
