Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' and residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote independence, safety, and quality of life
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient and resident progress
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current certification as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
- Licensed to practice in the state of Massachusetts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
