Role Overview
- Job Summary: Acts as a senior clinical leader bridging facility-level nursing teams and corporate operations to standardize care, mentor local Directors of Nursing (DONs), and enforce health standards for RegalCare of MA.
- Reports To: VP of Clinical
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all regional facilities adhere to state, federal, and CMS guidelines, managing survey preparations and state health inspections.
- Clinical Quality & Audits: Monitor patient care standards, conduct regular documentation and chart reviews, and implement corrective action plans.
- Staff Leadership & Training: Mentor local Director of Nursing coordinate regional training curricula, and assist with clinical recruitment needs.
- Budget & Operations Support: Collaborate with executive directors to manage nursing budgets, staffing ratios, and medical resource allocation.
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s Degree (MSN or MHA) often preferred.
- Experience: 5 years of progressive nursing experience, including 3 years in multi-facility or facility-level nursing leadership (such as a DON or Resident Services Director).
- Travel: Regular local or regional travel between assigned facilities. [1]
