Bilingual Welding Training & Process Technician
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Schedule: Full-Time | Must be available for day or night shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed

Regal Staffing Services is partnering with a growing manufacturer to hire a proven bilingual welding professional who thrives both in the classroom and on the shop floor. You’ll guide welders, elevate processes, and safeguard quality—while shaping the next generation of skilled talent.
A Day in the Role
Your morning begins in the training bay: you set up hands-on exercises, walk through welding symbols and WPS requirements, and evaluate techniques. After lunch, you’re in the plant auditing weld processes, troubleshooting a machine, and reviewing NDT documentation to pinpoint root causes. You wrap up by updating qualification records, calibrating equipment, and planning tomorrow’s curriculum.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Instruction & Coaching
- Lead practical and classroom-based training for new and experienced welders.
- Teach blueprint reading, welding symbols, Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS), and customer-specific requirements.
- Administer welder qualification and requalification tests aligned with company standards and applicable codes.
- Offer targeted coaching following performance evaluations to elevate skills, quality, and safety.
- Create training content, course materials, and hands-on exercises; maintain training records and skills matrices.
- Mentor teams to boost productivity and support cross-training to build a versatile workforce.
Process & Quality Technician Work
- Audit operators and welding processes to ensure compliance and uncover improvement opportunities.
- Troubleshoot welding equipment and process issues; collaborate with production and plant leadership.
- Train employees on WPS adherence and customer welding specifications.
- Visually inspect welds and review NDT documentation to determine root causes of defects.
- Perform welder testing and keep precise documentation of inspections, procedures, and qualifications.
- Verify and calibrate welding equipment and measuring tools per company and industry standards.
What You Bring
- Background as a Welding Instructor, Welding Technician, Certified Welder, or similar in manufacturing.
- Ability to pass 2G, 3G, and 4G FCAW/SMAW weld tests.
- Capability to operate or learn to operate Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) within six months of hire.
- Robust knowledge of welding processes, WPS, blueprint reading, welding symbols, and quality standards.
- Exceptional troubleshooting, coaching, and communication skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel, including regular trips to Longview, TX for training.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in confined spaces or at heights when needed.
