Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Conduct residential electrical work.
- Work on 3-phase electrical equipment and conduct advanced troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex electrical equipment such as winders, HMIs, PLC/Drive faults, and limited portions of CNC electricals.
- SME on Equipment: Serve as an SME on most equipment and provide planning and knowledge transfer for machine moves, additions, and modifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment, including checking functionality of interlock systems, repairing/replacing electrical components in control cabinets, and installing new equipment electricals to a CNC.
- Communicate effectively within and outside of the function.
- Support the achievement of business targets with moderate impact on departmental results.
- Work to influence parties within the department at an operational level.
- Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations.
- Documentation and Reporting: Ensure proper documentation and reporting of maintenance activities.
- Advanced 3-phase electrical equipment troubleshooting
- Complex electrical equipment repair
- CNC electrical maintenance and installation
- Knowledge of electrical supplies and procurement
- Compliance with electrical codes and regulations
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Electrical Associate Degree or Certified 3-phase Electrical License
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Able to work in a team environment and interface with a diverse workforce.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk, bend, stoop, or crouch for at least an 8-hour shift
- Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle or feel machinery, equipment or parts and work near moving mechanical parts.
- Must be computer literate, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced working environment with accuracy and integrity.
- 6 years prior maintenance experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
- Prior experience with preventative maintenance skills.
- Prior experience working with CNC equipment.
- Prior experience working with 3-phase electrical
- Certified 3-phase electrical license
