What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer - 2nd Shift position at Regal Rexnord?
Summary
General labor team member clearing production areas from spillover sand.
The selected candidate will be offered a pay rate based on prior industrial experience, between $18.87-20.97/hour to start.
The hours of this position are 2pm-10pm Monday - Friday.
Employees assigned to 2nd shift, are also eligible for a $3.25/hour shift premium.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Work environment includes regular exposure to noise levels at or above 85 decibels, dust particles, and weather changes. Will operate in tight spaces and on elevated platforms. Work requires the use of a respirator. Will need to perform tasks indoors and outdoor. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be required to be worn during shift. Work schedule has a standard start and end time.
Physical requirements include lifting up to 70lbs, standing for long periods of time, ability to bend, twist, reach, walk and crawl.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Shovel, sweep and vacuum sand
- Operate vacuum equipment and tools
- Operate a lift to clear work areas from obstructions
- Occasional roof clean up
- Ability to follow instructions
- Operate a forklift and similar vehicles
- Ability to follow all safety rules including lock out tag out procedures.
- Positive team orientation
- High school diploma or GED preferred
