What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Intern position at Regal Rexnord Corporation and Careers?
The Supply Chain Intern establishes, manages, reviews, and maintains the schedules for the Control Center, Manufacturing, Staging, and Assembly departments. This role ensures effective capacity plans, inventory maintenance, and on-time shipments to meet the customer needs. The Intern also works with and provides direction to the Purchasing team members, as needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide support to the team by managing lower‑priority tasks and assisting with daily operational needs.
- Update and maintain project boards, tracking tools, and workflow systems to ensure accuracy and visibility.
- Process and manage all Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), ensuring timely documentation and communication.
- Support logistics activities, including coordination of materials, documentation, and general workflow organization.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives, working closely with Shipping Supervisor and the team to support year‑end plant inventory requirements.
- Take on overflow tasks from the team as needed to help maintain workload balance and meet deadlines.
- Learn and understand departmental processes to provide added value and identify opportunities for improvement.
