- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Adhere to healthcare protocols, standards, and safety guidelines
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities
- Valid nursing license in NY state
- Proven experience as a Staff Nurse or similar role in a healthcare setting
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of medical procedures and protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- NCLEX
- Certification in a specialized area of nursing (e.g., critical care, oncology, pediatrics)
