RefrigiWear is looking for a full-time Inventory Lead. This position is responsible for overseeing and maintaining accurate inventory levels to support efficient warehouse
operations. This role ensures that all stock movements are properly tracked within the Warehouse Management System (WMS), leads cycle counts and audits, and investigates discrepancies to drive continuous improvement. The Inventory Lead works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely replenishment, minimize stock variances, and maintain data
integrity. This position requires strong attention to detail, leadership skills, and the ability to balance daily operational demands with long-term process improvements. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager. Hours are M-F, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Overtime will be required during our busy season.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee daily inventory control activities, ensuring accurate counts, adjustments, and reporting.
- Coordinate and lead cycle counts, audits, and full physical inventories, addressing variances promptly.
- Maintain accuracy of WMS transactions, ensuring stock integrity across all storage locations.
- Investigate discrepancies, root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Partner with operations, receiving, and shipping teams to ensure inventory flow supports business needs.
- Train and guide team members on inventory processes, best practices, and compliance standards.
- Communicate inventory status, risks, and recommendations to management in a clear and timely manner.
- Support process improvement initiatives to increase inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RF scanners, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- 2-3 years of warehouse experience, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, replenishment processes
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues, solve problems quickly, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and supporting cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to train, coach, and lead team members in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
